The tournament announced on Wednesday that multiple major champions Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and John Daly have committed to the tournament. Els and Goosen each won two U.S. Opens and are in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Previously committing was Duval, who missed the 50-year-old deadline to play last year at his home course by one month, and Hall of Fame members Davis Love III of St. Simons Island, Ga., Vijay Singh of Ponte Vedra Beach, last year's runner-up, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Darren Clarke, Steve Stricker and Colin Montgomerie.
