Summary James Gunn responds to the latest DC Universe casting rumor, this time revolving around Wonder Woman in the Paradise Lost TV show. While Gunn's DC Universe has found its Superman in David Corenswet and Supergirl in Milly Alcock, there are still several iconic heroes left to be cast for the franchise. One of the characters still missing from the upcoming reboot is Wonder Woman, who will be recast in the DC Universe after the DCEU movie timeline's conclusion in 2023.
When asked by Matthew Simmons if Elizabeth Debicki is being eyed to play Wonder Woman, Gunn simply stated, "This is coming from a site that’s just making up a bunch of stuff ." Debicki is no stranger to the comic book genre, as she appeared in Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as Ayesha.
DC Studios and Max are developing a Paradise Lost TV show, set to serve as a prequel prior to the birth of Diana.
