Jean Grey's new relationship with the Phoenix Force has not yet been fully revealed, but the Omega-level mutant is currently in the process of being resurrected in the White Hot Room, so she can reclaim her Phoenix identity and battle the terrible Enigma Dominion threatening Earth. Marvel's announcement of the upcoming Phoenix series, from acclaimed writer Stephanie Phillips with artist Alessandro Miracolo , reveals a life-or-death mission Jean will take on at the request of the cosmic hero Nova, all while sporting a gorgeous new Phoenix costume in a stunning cover by Yasmine Putri.

During the final moments of Krakoa, currently being told in RISE OF THE POWERS OF X and X-MEN: FOREVER, Jean Grey finds herself at the epicenter of creation and rebirth known as the White Hot Room.
