Jennifer Garner, 51, Shares a Refreshing Take on Aging and ‘Wrinkles’
, Garner reacted to viral TikTok trends, one of which was a clip of a person drinking from an “anti-wrinkle” straw.
If you haven’t heard of them, the straws are shaped in a way that theoretically prevents future lip lines by preventing a puckered shape while drinking. Not only is there no research to support the validity of the straw’s function, but as Garner pointed out, the question mark-shaped tube still requires some sucking action that kind of seems to defeat its purpose.
However, rather than bashing younger generations’ efforts, in true Garner fashion, the actress spun the moment into an opportunity to impart some pro-aging wisdom.“First of all, you’re adorable,” she said to the person on-screen. “And I hope you never see a wrinkle in your life. Except I hope you do, because I want you to live a nice long life, and that’s part of life.
