The Cowboys owner and general manager said getting a young signal caller is part of building a roster and that the franchise may have taken Jalen Hurts if he hung around a while longer in the 2020 NFL draft.Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on QB Trey Lance: “He gives us an opportunity to do what we always like to be doing. It would be ideal with Dak to have a young, prospective, developing quarterback who could just be in the room and be on the team with him.” Believes will benefit Lance.
