is just another reminder that it is never appropriate to comment on another person’s weight or body in general—regardless of your intentions. “Stop commenting on people’s weight, anyone. Just stop. Or telling someone they look pregnant,” the British singer wrote on her Instagram story on Thursday. “I see it so much on socials and I know it happens in real life.” Jessie revealed that she had been motivated to speak out after someone asked if she was pregnant because she supposedly “looked” it.

Unfortunately, the same person who asked if she was pregnant also went on to offer her unsolicited opinions and advice on something very personal she experienced late last year. “They also knew of what I went through last year and told me their thoughts on that, and how I should’ve handled it,” Jessie wrote. The 34-year-old is referring to her. In November 2021, she revealed on Instagram that, sadly, no heartbeat was detected during her third sonogram.
