Rodgers should be ready for the start of next season without a problem, according to Dr. Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, an orthopedic surgeon whoRodgers’ surgery was done in Los Angeles by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, a well-regarded orthopedic surgeon who fixed Kobe Bryant’s torn Achilles tendon. ElAttrache also is the team doctor for the Rams and Los Angeles Dodgers.
As for Rodgers, it remains unclear how much he’ll be around the Jets this season. But coach Robert Saleh said he’d like for Rodgers to remain close to the team. Rodgers immediately became a leader for the Jets this offseason — and a mentor to Wilson.
