The Jets had taken a 17-13 lead with 4:41 left in the game after Wilson threw a 1-yard touchdown to tight end C.J. Uzomah. The Jets just needed their defense to hold up to get the win, but they couldn’t. The Lions took over at their own 22 with 4:37 left to play. They drove to their 49 with two minutes left in the game. On fourth-and-1, Lions quarterback Jared Goff ran the play-action pass and found tight end Brock Wright wide open on the left side. Wright went up the sideline and scored the 51-yard touchdown to give the Lions a 20-17 lead with 1:49 left in the game.
