The victim chased and collided with the suspect’s vehicle at Garden Grove intersection.
More than a half-million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen last week from a car after the driver exited the eastbound 22 freeway and stopped at a red light in Garden Grove, officials said.
On Jan. 12, a silver van with three male suspects stopped directly in front of the victim’s vehicle and approached the car. The suspects smashed the victim’s rear windows and stole a bag in the back seat that contained the jewelry, worth roughly $560,000, officials said. They then fled from the scene in their own vehicle, according to Garden Grove police.
