The Jersey actor and “Cheers” star, who was 71, made for a dynamic duo in film comedies “Look Who’s Talking” and “Look Who’s Talking Too” . Travolta, 68, shared a photo of Alley from earlier in her career and one of the actors embracing each other, all smiles, at the premiere of “Look Who’s Talking” in 1989.Alley and Travolta’s onscreen chemistry powered the success of the “Look Who’s Talking” films .
“To all our friends, far and wide around the world…We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered,” they said. “She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead.”
