Joliet Junior Olympic boxing Jojo Awinongya out of ring
There's an update on a very impressive young man CBS 2 first introduced you to last year.
Joseph Awinongya, Jr. credits moving up a weight class as why his most recent trip to the Junior Olympics was so much fun. That, and standing atop the podium for the 4th time.CBS 2 first met Awinongya, who goes by Jojo, last April "During this last nationals, I had some people come up to me and say they saw off of my videos, they started boxing because of that. It always brings me a lot of joy," Awinongya said.
