The upcoming Fletch reboot starring Jon Hamm as the titular reporter Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher, has received an official fall release date.
Miramax’s upcoming comedy reboot Confess, Fletch has received an official release date. First adapted for the big screen by Michael Ritchie in 1985, the new picture directed by Greg Mottola was announced in July 2020 and stars Jon Hamm as a slightly more put-together iteration of the investigative reporter Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher.
Now, according to Deadline, Confess, Fletch is officially scheduled to premiere on September 16. With the distribution rights acquired by Paramount Global Content Distribution, the comedy film will enjoy a limited theatrical run alongside a simultaneous release to premium VOD. The picture will then become exclusively available through Showtime on October 28.
