Jordan's Queen Rania was sharply criticized after accusing Israel and the West of a "glaring double standard" for condemning Hamas' terrorist attack on Oct. 7 that killed more than 1,400 Israelis while remaining silent about civilian deaths caused by Israel's military response in Gaza.
The organization also kidnapped more than 200 hostages and took them back to Gaza as bargaining chips. Some have since been released. According to CNN, the Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Health is reporting the death toll in Gaza at 5,000 with 2,000 being children.
