Urquidy’s early struggles dragged the Astros down in a 6-1 loss to the Angels at Minute Maid Park and tied the series at a game apiece. He required 88 pitches to get through five innings. Urquidy yielded six earned runs, 10 hits, one home run, one walk, one hit batter and four strikeouts. Yuli Gurriel hit 3-for-3 against Ohtani, but the Astros otherwise had a miserable night at the plate. Houston hit 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base.
