Joshua Matthew Black of Leeds is set to be sentenced on May 5 for his role in the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol.

Black, 46, of Leeds was found guilty of the following five charges in federal court in Washington, D.C.:Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon.Entering and remaining on the floor of Congress.Black, who admitted to carrying a knife during the Capitol breach, is set to be sentenced on May 5. He faces up to 10 years in prison for some of the charges.

Black, who ran a lawn care service in Moody, was seen on video and in photos of the Jan. 6 riot, wearing a red hat, camouflage jacket and yellow gloves. He appeared to be bleeding from the left cheek, and later said he was trying to protect a police officer, or police officers, during the breach. Like Black, in videos shot in Senate chambers, the man had blood on the left side of his face and said in the YouTube video he had been shot with a projectile. In that video, federal prosecutors say, Black discussed entering the Capitol and being on the Senate floor.
