JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that a man died on University Boulevard after he was hit by a car near Jacksonville University Wednesday morning.
According to detectives, officers responded around 5 a.m. initially to a crash with injuries. Upon arrival, they learned it was a pedestrian that was hit, and despite life saving efforts, he unfortunately died at the scene. Action News Jax has a crew at the scene working to learn more.
