The upcoming weekend highs are competitively near breaking previous records, meteorologists said.
Saturday is expected to reach 101 degrees, and will likely break the current record from June 17, 2011, of 100 degrees. Temperatures Thursday are expected to reach between the high-90s and the low-100s, according to the National Weather Service. However,by lowering the Thursday temperature a bit.
