The latest update from the National Weather Service calls for cool temperatures and a slight chance of showers on Monday — nothing terribly dramatic.It's on Tuesday that things will get interesting again. The weather service says there's a risk of"severe storms" Tuesday and Tuesday night across the eastern Hill Country, parts of the Interstate 35 corridor and the Coastal Plains.
How great a risk? On a scale of 1 to 5, the NWS rates the risk at 1 for San Antonio, Boerne and Fredericksburg and 2 for an area stretching from San Marcos north to Austin and east to La Grange.
