The Duchess of Cambridge made a festive arrival for her community carol service at Westminster Abbey.
Guests of Royal Carols: Together at Christmas included people involved with grassroots initiatives and charity work, as well as teachers, emergency responders, and armed forces personnel. Community members who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, and have thus spent more time isolated over the past two years, were also invited to attend.
A photo posted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram account showed a sneak peek of the festivities. "We will be reflecting on the extraordinary challenges we have faced in recent times and celebrating the acts of kindness that we have witnessed across the nation as communities pulled together to help each other and protect those in need," the caption read.
