The duchess is putting her art history degree to good use.
Today, Kate visited London's Victoria and Albert Museum to attend “Fabergé in London: Romance to Revolution,” an exhibition with more than 200 objects that celebrates the work of the Russian jeweler Carl Fabergé, who is known for using precious gems and metals to craft jeweled Imperial eggs for the Russian Empire. The exhibition also includes three items lent by Queen Elizabeth II: the Colonnade Egg, Basket of Flowers Egg, and Mosaic Egg.
For the outing, Kate wore a vibrant paisley top, courtesy of Ralph Lauren. The long-sleeved blouse featured the psychedelic print in deep hues of navy blue, red, and black. Other details included a pussy bow collar, barrel cuffs, and shirring on the sleeves. She tucked the patterned top into a pair of high-waisted black trousers with a black leather belt. For accessories, the duchess wore circular gold earrings and a black mask. She also wore her hair up in a curly ponytail.
