Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be stocking Fort Bend lakes with thousands of catfish this spring.The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will soon be restocking two areawith thousands of catfish, the TPWD announced Monday. Katy’s Mary Jo Peckham Park and Missouri City’s Community Park Lake are among the 18 fishing spots chosen for the program.
“Neighborhood Fishin’ lakes are conveniently located in urban and suburban areas so that Texans don’t have to travel far to have a great experience,” said Craig Bonds, director of Inland Fisheries. “Catfish are fun and easy to catch for anglers of all ages and experience levels.”
