Following fan interest in seeing her take on the part, Keke Palmer confirms she's open to joining the MCU as X-Men's Rogue: 'So if we're adding Marvel to it, hey, let's do it. I'm ready for Rogue.'

Keke Palmer addresses Marvel fans' hopes that she will portray X-Men's Rogue when the team of mutants debuts, revealing that she is interested in taking on the role. Palmer recently played Emerald "Em" Haywood in Jordan Peele's 2022 sci-fi horror film, Nope. While the X-Men have yet to debut in the MCU, recent productions including Ms. Marvel have introduced mutants to the franchise and laid the groundwork for the team's appearance.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Possessing the ability to absorb powers and memories from others, Rogue ran away from home and was soon discovered by Mystique and Destiny, who recruited her into the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Despite initially being an antagonist to the Avengers and X-Men, the young mutant would eventually join the X-Men, becoming one of their most powerful and popular members as she took on a more heroic role.

"That's confidential, sugar. No, I'm kidding. I don't know. I just know that the fans, the way that the fans have me booked, honey, online, I got to do a gig every week. So if we're adding Marvel to it, hey, let's do it. I'm ready for Rogue." Why Keke Palmer Would Make A Great Rogue After Palmer enthusiastically reacted to her Rogue fan-casting, the Nope star quickly became a favorite among audiences to take on the role of Rogue in the MCU, with many creating pieces of fan art imagining her as the X-Men hero. Rogue's story has been one of the most extensively developed arcs in the comics, meaning that she has undergone much change across her lifetime.

With Ms. Marvel's X-Men nod and Tenoch Huerta confirming Namor's mutant heritage ahead of the character's debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the MCU is slowly laying the groundwork for the X-Men to make themselves known to Earth-616. As such, many are speculating who may be taking on those roles.
