Francesca Cornelli says she didn’t plan on leaving London to lead a U.S. business school.
But after 25 years at the London Business School as a finance professor, the Italian native uprooted her life to become dean of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management last summer. She was drawn to the idea of teaching a new wave of managers how to deal with disruption, she says, and hopes to lead by example.
