Despite having a large variety of major characters in his filmography, Kevin Bacon reveals the surprising role fans want to talk to him most about as that of his cameo in Will & Grace. Having made his acting debut with 1978's National Lampoon's Animal House, Bacon is one of the most iconic actors of the '80s and '90s thanks to his roles in everything from the teen music drama Footloose to the horror comedy Tremors.

Why Kevin Bacon's Will & Grace Role Was So Memorable Bacon would appear in Will & Grace season 5 as a fictionalized version of himself, with Jack stalking the iconic actor and inadvertently becoming his assistant, all in the hopes of getting to dance with the Footloose star.
Bacon's time with Will & Grace wouldn't end at the season 5 episode, with the actor even returning for the first part of the show's original series finale for a dream sequence in which he married Sean Hayes' Jack. Given the beloved sitcom has officially come to a close as of 2020, one can only hope that Bacon and Hayes' continued fondness for one another leads to a reunion on a different project at some point in the future.
