Three people who had been stabbed were found in the home, but investigators did not say if the man who was shot was the one who injured them.

When officers arrived, the found three people stabbed as well as Bernard Placide, who was holding a knife, inside the home, the office said. Investigators did not say if Placide was the one who allegedly stabbed the three unidentified people.
