These kosher wines—including some impressive Bordeaux—are the bottles to buy, for Passover and beyond
Victor Schoenfeld, I really don’t need to be writing this column. “It seems like writing a pre-Passover article on kosher wine is a bit of an anachronism,” said the head winemaker of Golan Heights Winery, in an email.
After all, reasoned Mr. Schoenfeld, kosher wines are consumed year-round. However, with Passover fast approaching and having just finished a tasting of 20 kosher wines, I would argue that now is actually a very good time to share with readers—especially those planning a Seder or wishing to bring a bottle to one—what I learned about the kosher wines available now.
