Bellville was led by 18 kills from sophomore Marin Higginbotham and 14 from senior Kendall Stark. Bellville secured its third straight regional crown. The Bears bowed out in the third round the last two years before coming one set short of a state berth in 2022. Bellville took over the fifth with a late surge after it led 9-8. McKay had back-to-back kills for a 12-8 lead before Higginbotham sent Belville to state with a kill.
