'I was in there until either I died, or I got them all out. And I wasn't looking towards dying. I had every intention of making it out.' Nicholas Bostic is sharing his experience of saving five kids with WRTV.

According to the Lafayette Police Department, on July 11 at approximately 12:30 a.m., crews received a report of a house fire in the 220 block of Union Street.

On Friday morning, Lafayette police released body camera video from the fire. You can watch it in the player above. According to the police department, Bostic explained that he was driving on the 2200 block of Union Street when he noticed the fire.
