plans to open its first Indiana location next year., across from Lafayette Square, the company said in a press release.The expansion is owed, at least in part, to the company founder's appreciation for Indianapolis.
“We visit Indianapolis almost every year for Gen Con, the truly epic annual tabletop gaming gathering,” said Tim League, founder of Alamo Drafthouse. “We’ve grown to really love this city over the years and are so excited to get to know and support the local film community in the years ahead.” The company was founded in 1997 as a single-screen repertory theater in Austin, Texas. They have grown to 39 locations across the country.
