“I’m just so proud of these kids,”Lake Creek coach Pat Kennedy, who has led this program since Day 1, said. “These seniors are 11-0 now and moving on to the second round. I just couldn’t be prouder.” The weather was one thing, but then a malfunction of the game clock on the scoreboard delayed things for a few minutes. The officials kept the time down on the field until the clock was functional again in the second quarter.
