The Huracan is living on borrowed time as the model is sold out till the end of production car auto cars
In a release touting their first quarter performance, Lamborghini said they delivered 2,623 vehicles in the first three months of the year and that was their “best result ever.” The automaker went on to say thewas the brand’s best-seller at 1,599 units, before dropping a bit of a bombshell in a rather matter of fact way.
In particular, the company said the Urus was followed by the Huracan which is “sold out till the end of production.” That’s a rather uneventful sendoff for the Gallardo successor, whichLamborghini Unleashes New Revuelto LB744 To Hunt Down Ferraris With 1,001 Hybrid Horses However, times are changing and Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann noted 2023 marks the “start of the second stage of the Direzione Cor Tauri program, the most important investment plan in the company’s history, which will help Lamborghini to grow and develop even further.” The program wasand calls for their entire lineup to be electrified by the end of 2024. Lamborghini will then launch their first fully-electric vehicle in the second half of this decade.
That transformation is already underway as the Revuelto was unveiled earlier this year as a hybridized Aventador successor. While some enthusiasts bemoan electrification, Lamborghini hinted the Revuelto is already a hit as there is an “order list that confirms the success of the car following its unveiling in March.”Speaking of orders, Lamborghini said that their order bank is “almost entirely” full through 2024. As a result, you’d best act fast or prepare for a lengthy wait.
