The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reminds travelers that lane restrictions are anticipated on Interstate 81 this weekend, May 3-6, so concrete pavement patching, and asphalt paving can be performed on a section of the interstate near Carlisle in Cumberland County.
Weather permitting, weekend lane closures for concrete patching and asphalt paving are scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday from Mile 53.5 to Mile 55, which is about midway between the Route 11 and Route 114 exits. The left lanes of I-81 will be closed in both directions. A rain date is set for May 10 to May 13, a press release said.
