Here is an Alabama football injury update on Cole Adams and Kadyn Proctor ahead of the Wisconsin game.
Cole Adams has an upper-extremity injury, DeBoer said, and “We’ll see how he goes through the week here,” DeBoer added. “Won’t rule him out but will probably be very limited early.”
As for left tackle Kadyn Proctor, DeBoer said Proctor will continue to work through his functional movement with his shoulder early in the week. “Keep progression in a way I feel we’re going to be pretty dang close by the weekend to get him on the football field,” DeBoer said. “He’s coming along real well, especially at the end of last week. Working extremely hard to get back out there.”against South Florida, sustaining a right arm injury.
Adams has been the primary punt returner for the Crimson Tide over the first two games as well as a player in the receiver rotation. He caught one pass for five yards against USF. He also has returned seven punts for 42 yards this season. Freshman cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe took Adams’ place and returned a punt 28 yards.
Meanwhile, Proctor has yet to play this season after being named the starter at left tackle. He sustained a shoulder injury during warmups before the Western Kentucky game.
