Screen Rant is proud to present an exclusive clip from the new DC animated film Legion of Super-Heroes featuring Supergirl, Brainiac 5, and Mon-El in a tight spot with time running out. Legion of Super-Heroes follows Supergirl adjusting to life on Earth as her cousin Superman tries to help her cope with the loss of Krypton. As Supergirl struggles to find her place, Superman suggests she venture to the 31st century to attend the Legion Academy.
While at the Academy, Supergirl finds new friends, but she also stumbles upon an individual with ties to an old enemy, Brainiac 5. In the future, Supergirl discovers a mysterious group called the Dark Circle, who are plotting a scheme to steal dangerous weapons from the Academy's vault. Supergirl and the other heroes in the making will have to rise to the occasion and work together to stop the Dark Circle as they try to get their hands on powerful weapons as part of a much larger plan.
Legion of Super-Heroes features an impressive cast, including Meg Donnelly, Harry Shum Jr., Cynthia Hamidi, Ely Henry, Robbie Daymond, Yuri Lowenthal, Eric Lopez, and Darin De Paul. Reprising their roles and continuing the ongoing Justice League continuity are Darren Criss, Matt Bomer, and Jensen Ackles. Legion of Super-Heroes is directed by Jeff Wamester from a screenplay by Josie Campbell.
Legion of Super-Heroes will be available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray+Digital, Blu-ray , and Digital starting February 7 from Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The movie includes a ton of exciting special features that give fans an inside look into how the animated Legion of Super-Heroes film was made. These include how the filmmakers decided which Legionnaires to include, a deep dive into the history of the Brainiacs, and why the filmmakers chose to focus on Supergirl.
