Why does SGI not pay its proportionate share of snow clearing of our Saskatoon streets when they clearly are a major benefactor? We, as Saskatchewan drivers, have no choice but to obtain vehicle liability insurance with SGI when registering our vehicles. With SGI paying its proportionate share of snow removal less financial burden would be placed on Saskatoon property owners with no registered vehicle and/or do not drive. This would also create an incentive and benefit for some in Saskatoon to abstain from vehicular ownership and to use our transit system.and our provincial government for our annual street snow removal ASAP.
