It's popular these days to complain about the political divisiveness in this country. I'm not one of them. I changed my mind when I realized that it's been this way since the beginning of our country. The fact is that's what democracy is all about, the open debate about policy and leadership.
Who would want to live in North Korea where everyone must bow to the supreme leader? Or in Iran where the government tells you how to dress? Or in China where you better watch what you say? Or in Russia where the government controls the media?Campton Hills
