Gov. Greg Abbott will push for a school voucher plan this state legislative session.

The article quotes Abbott saying that “some of the state’s public schools promote a liberal agenda.” What is a “liberal agenda”? Draining money from public schools in order to share it with private schools will harm our public school system. Private education is a choice. It shouldn’t be paid for with state funding.U.S. Rep. Chip Roy is a leading right-wing Republican voice.
