Lieber mentions mental and emotional health concerns, public policies, state budget requests, civil rights and voting problems. These are viable points for a majority of Texans, but, it seems, not given the types of bills filed in advance of this session. To echo Lieber and the others he quotes, including the late and irreplaceable Molly Ivins: elected officials, show us you care and respect us. Plan better, make amends. Do right and risk consequences. And thank you, Watchdog for looking out for all Texans once again!Thank you, Lege, for strengthening the grid and not using rainy day funds. This should be paid for by the users not the taxpayers. For protecting unborn children who cannot vote.
