When Kyleigh Thurman needed health care, doctors at Ascension Seton Williamson “handed her a pamphlet on miscarriage and told her to ‘let nature take its course.’”It seems to be the prevailing opinion of our Texas legislators that for women, we should let nature take its course. Why is it that men are rarely encouraged to “let nature take its course” when they have health issues? If taken to the logical end, women should never darken the door of a hospital or doctor’s office.
In the following weeks, I have had my name and images selling cryptocurrency, houses, automobiles and campers, and even acreage north of Dallas. The scariest part of this is that I will never ever have control of the stolen images or the use of my name. It would be helpful if this piece gave details on how Dallas Area Rapid Transit is efficient, cost-effective and reliable. When I saw a 60-passenger DART bus picking up one passenger at a private residence on my street, I wondered how widespread this costly use of public transportation is.
