SEATTLE — There’s the possibility of lowland snow in some locations Wednesday as snow levels drop to 500 feet and below.
Wednesday will feature a more robust band of precipitation moving through, concentrated in locations north and east of Seattle.Any heavier bouts of precipitation could bring some wet snow. While it won’t be a significant snowfall event, a dusting to possibly an inch could fall in some areas starting as early as Wednesday afternoon.
Though lowland accumulations are unlikely, we’ll be watching for any brief issues, mainly on less well-traveled roads north of Seattle and nearer to the Cascades. Morning lows will be below freezing Wednesday morning, so there could be spotty areas of ice. Highs will be around 40 degrees.It will warm up a bit Thursday and Friday, with a few spotty rain showers and mountain snow showers. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s.
