.lilbaby4PF opens up about his massive first week on the Billboard200
Co-host Charlamagne Tha God gassed him up for his first No. 1 album, saying,"I saw you say that you don't care about numbers, but I think it's a different ballgame when you do 200," he said, referencing the fact that Baby earned 197,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 5, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data."When you do 200 first week, you gotta care about numbers a little bit.
"Yeah, that's what they been saying the last couple of days, but before then... I ain't into it," he meekly responded. However, he told co-hostLil Baby has shown he's more concerned with giving back since he's made it big, which he did earlier this month by writing a $150,000 check for the"My Turn" scholarship dedicated to kids from his former high school going off to college.
