“I looked Italian,” she said, laughing. “I was panicking, like, ‘I can’t do this.’ I looked nothing like Pamela Anderson.”When the team nixed a cheap blond wig and stopped shaving James’ eyebrows, she recalled, things started to improve. She wore two prosthetics on her face, but the majority of the Anderson effect was achieved through makeup: shaving down her nose, using contour and shadow to make her cheeks look fuller, adding liner to plump up her lips.
