The legendary singer has opened up about his daughter Sofia’s lavish wedding in the South of France, saying he’s “cried enough” throughout the weekend.
The music legend proudly told guests “that’s my daughter!” while making their way to the altar.“I must say, I’ve known Elliot since he was 9 years old. So I know the groom really well. There’s a thing down South we always say: ‘Who’s your people?’ Well, I know his people, so it really is a real wonder to see them in love and just as happy as I’ve ever seen my little girl and Elliot.
In a TikTok video of the wedding, Lionel proudly told guests “That’s my kid!” while walking arm-in-arm with the dashing bride. “My little girl is all grown up and starting her own journey with the love of her life. You’ll always be my little bird, but I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become. Endless Love to you and Elliot,” Richie said on Instagram.Grainge popped the question in April 2022. with a kiss before guests gathered for cocktails, dinner and the night finished with a fireworks show.
When it came time for the couple’s first dance, they chose “Stuck On You” by the music legend himself.
