Walter tells Page Six she is “so proud” of Lohan, calling her a “very good actress.” The pair co-starred in 1998’s “The Parent Trap.”
“For her to have that level of success she had as a kid, most people are going to go through that [and have] a rough time,” Walter, 58, says. “Every once in a while, you’ll have somebody that just walks the straight and narrow.”
“You are the access point to all sorts of bonuses beyond the velvet rope experience,” she explains, “and people are going to try to connect to that through you, and when you’re young, you can’t really protect yourself. The experience becomes about that excess, and it can be very dangerous. ,” a mockumentary that follows a group of teachers in a Philadelphia public school. Walter plays second-grade teacher Melissa Schemmenti, who seemingly “knows a guy” for every problem encountered and even hints at Mafia connections.
