The good news is that HBO's future shock android dramais back in less than a month . The bad news, at least based on the chilling trailer that dropped on Thursday morning , is that things are about to get really, really tense in season three of the retelling of the pleasure park series from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
The nearly three-minute teaser opens with a haunting voiceover from diehard 'bot Dolores Abernathy , who says, "I was born into this world, and my first memories of it are pain." That leads to a quick-cut of series regulars Jeffrey Wright and Tessa Thompson , as well as menacing newcomer Aaron Paul, who pops up next to a towering,-like robot as Dolores reveals that this season the androids are crossing over into the human world.
In another welcome return, just over a minute into the trailer, as Thandie Newton's Maeve Millay gets orders to track Dolores down composer Ramin Djawadi serves up
