UPDATE: Lockdown at Los Angeles City College has been lifted, as investigation continues into fatal stabbing
The school announced the lockdown shortly after 3 p.m, declaring a "campus emergency" and telling students and staff to shelter in place.The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says a call for help was made around 2 p.m. and deputies on campus heard screams for help, then found a bleeding stabbing victim in a parking garage.
The suspect was last seen running away from the garage in the area of Heliotrope and Melrose. The victim was not a student.A knife was recovered from the scene.Copyright © 2022 KABC Television, LLC. All rights reserved.
