In a bizarre move, lying Rep. George Santos (R-NY) named himself treasurer of his campaign and affiliated committees on Friday.
Earlier this month, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a watchdog group, filed a complaint with FEC questioning Olson’s existence.Santos, 34, replaces a mysterious individual identified as Andrew Olson as the last treasurer of his campaign. as questions mounted over a slew of $199.
After Marks’ resignation, Wisconsin-based consultant Thomas Datwyler was named treasurer of the Santos campaign on FEC forms despite never agreeing to take on the job, according to his lawyer.
