A 72-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in Old Town on Wednesday evening, San Diego police said.
Officers found the victim on Taylor Street near Pacific Highway about 6:30 p.m., police Officer Robert Heims said. It’s unclear what led to the stabbing, and a description of the assailant wasn’t available. The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, police said.The department’s Western Division is investigating, and anyone with information about the incident was asked to call 692-4800 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 580-8477.
