The autopsy of Ashley Sarazen showed injuries consisted with forced penetration, according to new court records filed against Travis Collins, 32.
A man with a violent past accused of fatally beating a Harrisburg businesswoman inside a downtown hotel last month is now charged with raping her.
Sarazen was in Harrisburg for work the week she was killed in her hotel room at the Hilton on North Second Street. She was supposed to drive back to her home in the Pittsburgh area the day she was found dead in her room. Collins was emailing angrily with his ex-girlfriend about visitation and custody issues with their son,Collins was trying to gain more rights after not being allowed to see his son for two years because he refused random drug and alcohol testing.
He later called his friend and said he had “expletive up,” according to court records. He also called 911 about 3:10 a.m. to report her death and said she had hit him with the hotel phone. Collins is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 270 pounds, according to court records. Sarazen was 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighed about 120 pounds.
