The NYPD and the FBI arrested Kabeh Cummings, 35, in New York City on Aug. 29 on 11 felony charges stemming from 3 alleged sexual assaults in Sacramento in 2010 and 2013.
If convicted, Cummings could face a maximum of over 180 years in prison, Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho told reporters Tuesday.Cummings is accused of sexually assaulting two women in Sacramento in February and March 2010 and a third woman in September 2013, authoritiesIn the 2010 assaults, Cummings allegedly grabbed both women from behind, put them in headlocks and strangled them before sexually assaulting them, according to Sacramento Police Chief Kathy Lester.
Cummings is also accused of a violent sexual assault of another woman in the Sacramento area in September 2013, according to Assistant Sheriff LeeAnneDra Marchese of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, who said he allegedly grabbed that victim from behind just after 4:15 a.m., pointed a stun gun at her and threatened her life.
